    Jordan
in front of NASA T-38 Welcome to jordan.rh.ncsu.edu The site is back online after being down for the holiday break. It's 2004 and the new academic semester is in full gear already!

jordan.rh.ncsu.edu is the personal web server of Jordan Schwarz. This site has now had two and a half years of time on the WWW! This site is home to information about me, DECzilla, and the work I do. This year, it has an important addition: skybridges, a project I did during the summer examining the varied and unusual roles of aviation in the culture, economy, and history of North Carolina. It has many high resolution photos and audio interviews. Check it out!

    Hardware:
jordan.rh.ncsu.edu is a computer that I built, a 1.2 GHz Athlon Thunderbird with 512 MB RAM and now 63 GB of IDE RAID disk space and a new I recently upgraded to Fedora Core 1, and as always, the site serves web pages using the apache webserver.

walltown is a Sun Ultra 30 with a 250 Mhz UltraSparc II processor, 9 GB of disk space and 224 MB of RAM after a recent upgrade. This may not sound like much, but back in the day, this was a $15,000 machine! walltown runs Debian Linux for Sparc. walltown is at home right now, taking a break.
